I cannot stop listening to this new collaboration. "Together" is by Sam Smith, Nile Rodgers, Disclosure and Jimmy Napes. Sounds like a good quality old track - im so addicted to disco right now!!

OCTOBER MUSIC ROUND UP

My favourite artists at the moment are (no particular order): 

1. King Krule - he used to be known as Zoo Kid and released his debut album in september '6 Feet Below The Moon' also check out his personal soundcloud if you're into jazz or rejjie snow..

2. Arctic Monkeys - their new album AM came out a while ago and this is one of my favourite songs off of it: Do I Wanna Know, good to have you back boys..

3. The 1975 - everybody is loving this band at the moment but i assure you not as much as me. Its that autumn kinda music that sounds good with the sound of the rain bleeding through the windows.. heres Girls..

4. Hot Natured - made up of Jamie Jones and Lee Foss, they're a group who im almost certain you've heard this summer especially you were in ibiza.. i love the video for this one here's Magic Carpet Ride - first heard this while at Radio 1 doing work experience sitting in on B.Traits' show, thanks Bri!

5. HAIM - love these girls right now! They're on fire and their music sounds like a dream (literally) my favourite at the moment has to be The Wire - also they've had some massive artists do remix's of their songs so check them out too.. heres the Cyril Hahn remix of Dont Save Me..

ALSO i have a soundcloud account.. i haven't got round to uploading a mix yet, as i havent quite got the hang of it yet but i plan to have one up by the end of the year - sort of like a best bits mix that Dazed & Confused post. SS14 REPORT

I've been absent for a while mainly because of exams/summer but im back! It hasn't all been sleep and pizza though - i spent a couple of weeks doing work experience in some amazing companies like Modus Publicity and BBC Radio One, where i did things like assisting producers on shows like Charlie Sloth and B.Traits.. and worked in the showroom with amazing people (and clothes)..

ANYWAY here's my highlights from New York/London/Milan/Paris.. (no particular order):

MARCH EDIT

At the end of each month i'll write a wish list mostly consisting of clothes but i might slip a few general ones in there every now and again. This could be never ending so i'll keep it short, right now i want.. (in no particular order)

1. Topshop 'Knitted Barcode Motif Jumper' - right now my style inspiration is rihanna and this reminds me of something she would wear, however its a jumper and im mentally dressing for summer so it'll be hard to convince myself to buy this one

2. Topshop 'Red Aztec Aline Skirt' - i was one of those people solely against aztec when it first came out but this skirt is making it hard for me to stick to that

3. Topshop 'GORGEOUS Cut Out Heels'  - I havent bought myself a pair of shoes let alone heels in a while, and ive had my eye on them for a while as topshop have used them recently in some of their campaigns and now they're out it gives me another reason to pay a visit to oxford circus!

4. 'MOTO Denim T-shirt and Joggers' - These two would look great with the above heels and a gold chain! Im a big fan of co-ords at the moment, and will be wearing them loads over summer

5. American Apparel 'Cotton Ottoman High Waist Hot Short' in Navy - these are surprisingly cheap for american apparel and will look great with a white boxy t-shirt and once again the above heels! (3)

6. ASOS Mouille One Shoulder Bikini - it is only March but i learn every year that its better to shop now rather than never, this bikini is different to anything else ive seen and it may be a splurge but i feel it would look amazing and would be worth it, a girl can never have too many bikini's!!

7. Office Understanding Black Leather Boots - if i didnt already have my topshop adonis boots i would so be investing in these! They're perfect and look timeless would love a pair but they're practically identical!

8. Parklife Weekender Tickets - the line up is literally perfect! havent seen one so good in a while with legends like David Rodigan playing alongside new guys Disclosure, also on the line up are Four Tet, Aluna George, TNGHT, Julio Bashmore and TEED to name but a few

9. XXYYXX, Shlohmo and Blackbird Blackbird Tickets - after recently discovering shlohmo i was instantly addicted and then i stumbled upon this gig! its the weekend before my birthday which is perfect and nearly two weeks before my first exam which is not so perfect and also why im unfortunately not going!

10. River Island Mini Pinafore Dress in Black - this ones so cheap and perfect for spring/summer, at only £25 i need to take a trip to oxford street

11. Evil Twin 'Dry Lightning' Dress from The Village Bicycle - i love this shop way too much! and this smock dress is just what i need, its £80 but a price im willing to pay

My LFW Experience

Last Sunday I was pleasantly surprised as I attended the Mark Fast aw13 show as part of LFW. The collection which involved bright pinks and oranges with lots of knitwear and feathers in bold shapes contrasted with the grey skyline surrounding the ME hotel. After the show we gathered outside on the terrace to look over London. After attending the previous Mark Fast ss13 show, I had high expectations for this one and I'm glad to say I wasn't disappointed.

NEW DISCLOSURE

Disclosure have done it again! This time with AlunaGeorge who also made Watching Over You and You Know You Like It! Disclosure ft Aluna George - White Noise premiered on Zane Lowe's radio one show earlier, thankfullly disclosure havent made the error of making another song that sounds to similar to their others, white noise sounds like a club anthem, yet original. The only problem is the risk of over playing it, which doesnt seem likely to happen.
